Betty J Bennett

Retired after 30 plus years as a middle and high school teacher, administrator, and professor of education, Betty J. Bennett is an expert educator and passionate about teaching others. As a lifetime animal lover and advocate, she is a Certified Canine Massage Therapist and teaches others canine massage for their dog’s and their own relaxation. Passion grows from deep awareness that touches hearts and calls to action. Dr. Bennett’s passion from personal experience with animals is evident in her message.

Patti Kaighn

Patti is a Registered Nurse and the owner of DIY Dog of Sarasota, a self-service and full service dog wash located in Sarasota, FL.  Patti has been in the medical field since 1993 and has moved over to teaching pet CPR as well.  Patti still practices as an RN in the state of Florida.

Lorri Zelaznik LVT

Lorri has an AAS in veterinary science technology from the State University of New York Agriculture and Technical college at Delhi. She also attended Cornell University where she received a Certificate in Animal Health Technology and participated in Externships in Large Animal Medicine, Radiology and Surgery. Additionally, Lorri has experience working for Derks Animal Clinic, Cutler Plaza Animal Hospital and Keene Veterinary Clinic where her responsibilities included, providing nursing care to patients and various skills in emergency medicine.  Lorri has experience presenting to various levels of associates from front line to senior management about HIPAA Privacy and Security as well the Standards of Conduct for the corporate compliance program.   This background will ensure that Lorri Zelaznik will be quite successful as  a Pet Emergency, CPR, Advanced Life Support and Large Animal Emergency instructor.

Monica Hernandez

Monica is a devoted animal lover, leading her to adopt Jazz the beautiful black cat, and Rex, a 4-monthold Pitbull mix. Monica has 20 years of Nursing experience, in addition to becoming a Certified DogTrainer through Anthony Jerone’s School of Dog Training In NYC. Monica’s passion for helpingabandoned and injured pets drives her to dedicate her spare time to volunteering at the local HumaneSociety. Through her work experience, Monica is able to utilize her clinical knowledge and criticalthinking skills to train your precious pets.
