Jamie Kavan LVT
Jamie Kavan has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2000. She received her degree from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, NE and was in the top 10 of her class. Having always been a math/science enthusiast who loves animals, veterinary medicine was an obvious choice from an early age. Jamie currently works at Tomorrow’s Veterinary Care and looks forward to the daily challenges she faces, whether it be a walk-in emeregency or trying to keep a squirmy puppy from eating her hair. Jamie also enjoys speaking to kids, from preschool through high school, about her love of her profession and educating them about what it means to work in the veterinary field. Her four legged “kids” include Kiya – a senior Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix, Jude – a crazy Lab/Border Collie mix.
