Victoria Munguia LVT
Tori was born in New Mexico, but raised in West Texas. She had a love for animals early on in life, and has never been without an animal sidekick. She has had a variety of animal friends ranging from the scaly, to the feathered, and the furry. She graduated high school in 2005, where she studied animal health and biology. In 2009, she graduated from Midland College where she was enrolled in the Vet Tech Program. Immediately following graduation, she took her National and State Board exams to become a Licensed Vet Tech in the state of Texas. Having obtained her Associates of Applied Science and Vet Tech License (LVT), she decided to further her education and was accepted to Sul Ross State University in Alpine Texas. In 2012, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology while minoring in Animal Health Science and Environmental Science. She moved back to her home town of Midland, and began to work in a variety of clinical settings. She has worked in day practices, but mostly in emergency clinics. In October 2012, she accepted a job at a duel practice vet clinic in Fort Worth Texas and has resided there since. She has been involved in several veterinary organizations such as: Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS), Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and National Animal Health Emergency Rescue Corps (NAHERC). She enjoys spending her free time with her 5 cats: Emmy, Oli, Nina, Moses, and Socks; her 2 dogs: Rossi and Boo; her boyfriend, Andrew; and his 2 dogs: Ripley, Furiosa, and his cat, Talia. She also volunteers with animal foster groups to bottle feed orphaned kittens. She also enjoys reading, arts and crafts, video games, movies, music of all kinds, and shopping.
