Errata List for Pet Emergency Education Publications

An errata list is a formal record of corrections or updates to published materials. At Pet Emergency Education, we strive to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and clarity in all our publications, including manuals, textbooks, and course materials. However, occasionally errors or necessary updates are identified after publication. This errata list serves to document those corrections and provide our readers, instructors, and students with the most accurate and up-to-date information available. We are committed to transparency and ongoing improvement in all educational content we produce.

Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid Reference Guide 2023 Edition

  • Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid Reference Guide 2023 Edition has a section under Hyperthermia where bullet points were not removed and a separate section created for “Seeking Veterinary Care was not recreated. Seeking Veterinary Care is supposed to be a separate section , not part of the “What not to do” section.
  • The Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid Reference Guide, along with the 2023 edition of the Canine and Feline CPR and Advanced Life Support Reference Guide, were printed prior to the updated CPR guidelines for dogs and cats released in the fall of 2024 by the RECOVER Initiative. To ensure that the most current information is available, an insert reflecting the changes has been included in all printed versions of both guides. Additionally, the eBooks for both reference guides have been updated to reflect the new CPR guidelines.
  •  Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid Reference Guide published in 2023 has a page number error on page 45. NO pages are missing. The error only involves the page numbers omitting #45.
