Join us for this interactive 3-hour Advanced Canine and Feline CPR and Emergency Life Support Certification Class for First Responders, Live on Zoom.
This class is designed for professionals who respond to animal emergencies in the field. Taught live by a credentialed veterinary technician, this course expands upon basic pet CPR and first aid to include advanced trauma care, field stabilization techniques, and working-dog specific scenarios.
Participants will earn a 2-year Advanced Canine and Feline CPR and Emergency Life Support Certification enhancing their readiness to manage critical animal emergencies using the latest standards recognized by the veterinary industry.

Participation Requirements
To maintain the interactive, hands-on format of this live training, please ensure the following:

Use a desktop or laptop computer — mobile phones are not recommended.

You’ll need a stuffed animal, reliable internet connection, and working camera and microphone.

The instructor must be able to see all participants throughout the session to verify participation — this is required for certification.

Multiple participants at one location may share a single device, provided each person is clearly visible on camera and the screen is large enough for viewing.

Full attendance and active participation are mandatory.

A short multiple-choice quiz will be available within 24–48 hours of the class and must be completed within 14 days to receive certification.

Developed by emergency veterinary professionals, this advanced-level program builds on the fundamentals of Pet CPR and First Aid to equip responders with field-ready emergency care techniques for both working and companion animals.
Upon completion, participants will be certified in Advanced Pet First Aid, Trauma Response, and Canine & Feline CPR — uniquely tailored for first responders and animal professionals working in emergency, law enforcement, or field settings.

Advanced CPR for Working and Companion Animals:
Learn high-quality compression and ventilation techniques, advanced airway management, and field monitoring methods for dogs and cats of all sizes. -
Trauma and Wound Management:
Address critical injuries such as lacerations, fractures, and gunshot or stabbing wounds using stabilization, hemorrhage control, and field triage methods. -
Airway Emergencies and Oxygen Administration:
Identify and manage airway obstructions, respiratory distress, and oxygen deprivation using safe, veterinary-endorsed procedures and available responder tools. -
Shock and Blood Loss Response:
Recognize the stages of shock and implement stabilization measures that maintain perfusion and minimize deterioration prior to veterinary care. -
Environmental Emergencies (Heat/Cold Exposure):
Learn to prevent and manage hyperthermia and hypothermia in outdoor or operational settings where animals are working in extreme conditions. -
