Pet CPR and First Aid Certification Classes at Elmwood Community Center

We are proud to partner with Elmwood Community Center to offer our nationally recognized and accredited Pet Emergency Education training and certification programs. Classes held at this location are taught by a certified Pet Emergency Education instructor and follow our official curriculum. Certification is awarded by Pet Emergency Education to each participant who successfully complete the training class.
Please Note: Registration, fees and enrollment for these classes are managed directly by the Elmwood Community Center. Pet Emergency Education is not handling the registration process. For more information and to register for a class at the Elmwood Community Center please click on the “Register Now” button below. Class is open to anyone 18 years and up.
Participants who complete the program will receive a certification through Pet Emergency Education, along with access to our Animal Emergency Resource Center and other program benefits.

Meet your instructor
Tara O’Shea
Meet Tara: a professional dog groomer who specializes in stress-free grooming experiences and is passionate about pet safety. After leaving the Air National Guard in 2020, Tara pursued her ambitions in the pet industry by gaining professional experience in both the dog boarding and dog grooming world. This inspired her to open her own business, Buffy’s Bubbles in Warwick, RI, where pet parents can be reassured that their canine is in good hands. Throughout the past few years since opening Buffy’s Bubbles, Tara has grown tremendously through continuing education and is eager to help share life saving knowledge to provide to all pet owners.
